The whiskeys from the Lowlands are lighter in color and flavor than the strong whiskeys from the Highlands.
They have typical soft aromas of grass, grain and flowers and a dry finish.
In the Lowlands is no local peat available, making the peat flavor that many Highland whiskeys (Scotch whiskey and often known) or are missing.
